Extended deadline for Luvvies everywhere

Are things going a little slow at the Lovie Awards? The European spin off from the Webby’s has announced an extended deadline of August 2nd for entries to this year’s batch – previously it wasĀ June 14th.

The award categories are Best Animation, Branded Entertainment, Comedy, Documentary, Events & Live Broadcast, Music & Entertainment, Public Service & Activism, and Viral Video.

There are also separate entries for the craft of Internet video, specifically: Editing, Individual Performance, Use of Interactive Video, Web Personality / Host, and Writing.

It costs 215 euro per entry (there is a 100 euro ā€˜discounted optionā€™ but the website fails to offer an explanation or description of how this applies)
