Red Giant gets BulletProof

A piece of software that helps to organise video shoots with loads of footage has been given its first full release after beta testing, though it’s Mac only at present.

Red Giant’s “BulletProof v1.0” is now available from www.redgiant.com and costs $199 USD. It provides import, playback, backup, file administration, and colour tweaking and is designed to make sure that a sea of data from myriad memory cards is sorted properly ready for editing.

Meanwhile the company has also bundled BulletProof with its popular PluralEyes software (which syncs audio from multiple cameras) into Red Giant Shooter Suite ($399 USD).

Finally, Magic Bullet Suite has been renamed Red Giant Colour Suite, incorporating six applications for color grading: Denoiser II, Cosmo, Colourista II, LUT Buddy, Magic Bullet Looks 2 and Mojo. It costs $599 USD.
