Update for Sony editing software

Sony Creative Software has released version 13 of its popular Vegas Movie Studio software.

The editing suite, which is a cut-down version of its excellent PC-based “Vegas Pro”, now boasts some of the features that were introduced in the last version of that full product such as expanded edit mode and a colour match effect, as well as 4K (UltraHD) editing support.

Interestingly it also now has “touch enabled editing”, an option that Sony touched on (pardon the pun) in a questionnaire sent to users a few months back – looks like it proved a popular option and with increasing numbers of people shooting video on tablets, perhaps touch-enabled editing is a sensible move.
