Free microphones up for grabs

Yes, really. Well, sort of.

Sennheiser is offering 150 of its D1 wireless mics out to interested parties such as bands who are willing to review the mic for four weeks and submit their thoughts as to its installation, build quality, sound and handling. Those who send in entries which fulfil the company’s criteria will get to keep the mic – worth 699 euro.

Reviews can be written or filmed and contestants can choose from a standard vocal mic, instrument, headset or lavalier kit. The reviews will ultimately be published on Sennheiser’s website.

Applicants also get entered to a draw to win headphones or microphones. Sounds sweet to us.
