Video review: Aputure AL-M9 LED light
A review of a tiny LED light for mounting onto a video camcorder or DSLR. The Aputure Amaran AL M9 is powered by an internal rechargeable battery and provides almost two hours of light from a charge.
It comes with a cold shoe mounting clamp which can also work as a screw thread mount. Two gel filters provide the ability to alter the colour temperature and a compact padded bag with two compartments is also supplied to keep it in.
We very much like this light; it’s very useful for vlogging as well as handheld lighting in tight spaces – and it’s not at all expensive.
