Deadline approaches for Lovies
The deadline for entries to the Lovie Awards – the European version of the Webbys – is almost upon us. June 14th is the last day for submission and categories include several under the banner of Internet Video.
They are: Best Animation, Branded Entertainment, Comedy, Documentary, Events & Live Broadcast, Music & Entertainment, Public Service & Activism, and Viral Video. There are also separate entries for the craft of Internet video, specifically: Editing, Individual Performance, Use of Interactive Video, Web Personality / Host, and Writing.
The awards are open to entries in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German. There are a host of other rules and requirements; see them at http://lovieawards.eu/eligibility-and-guidelines/
It costs 215 euro per entry (there is a 100 euro ‘discounted option’ but the website fails to offer an explanation or description of how this applies)
